Ike Nichols with artists and collaborators at a BLANC SESSIONS studio gathering

Independent music publisherChicago + Los Angeles

We represent
the sound
of what's next.

The work deserves more than a release date.

Songs are the asset.
Artists are the future.

We believe publishing should feel personal: close to the creative process, honest about the business, and built to serve a career—not a moment.

Kenwood brings representation and a working studio under one roof, creating a direct line from the first idea to a protected, growing catalog.

01

Artist representation

A focused, hands-on relationship for artists, writers, and producers ready to build a meaningful body of work.

02

Catalog stewardship

Clear, careful attention to the songs, rights, and opportunities that give a catalog its long-term value.

03

Sync + licensing

Music positioned for film, television, brands, games, and the right creative partnerships.

A deliberately focused roster

Close enough to know the music. Connected enough to move it.

Introduce your work
  1. 01

    Listen

We start with the music, the point of view, and the body of work already taking shape.

  2. 02

    Build

We create a practical strategy around the artist, the catalog, and the next chapter.

  3. 03

    Represent

We carry the work into rooms, relationships, and opportunities that fit.

Where new talent gets a room—and a next step.

Kenwood Studios is in partnership with BLANC SESSIONS, a live gathering built around new and emerging artists, producers, and writers.

BLANC serves as KWS's industry incubator: a place to discover early voices, build creative community, and help promising work move toward publishing, development, and long-term opportunity.

Publishing + studio relationships

Music made

The publishing roster is intentionally focused. This selection also highlights artists whose music has been produced, recorded, mixed, or mastered through KWS; not every studio relationship is a publishing deal.

Where publishing becomes practice

A room built for the work.

The studio is the living center of Kenwood—a place to write, produce, record, and make the next song better.

It keeps us grounded in what artists actually need: trust, taste, honest feedback, and space to finish the idea.

Founder / BLANC SESSIONSIke Nichols

Independent by design

Founded by someone who makes the music, too.

Ike Nichols founded Kenwood Studios in 2021 as a home for music publishing, artist relationships, and hands-on studio work.

A film composer and producer based between Chicago and Los Angeles, Ike built Kenwood around a simple idea: creative ambition and practical representation should live in the same conversation.
